War over my BB

Almost daily, Clo and I go next door to visit her friend Kami. She is three weeks older than Chloe, and is so precious. Chloe likes to grab onto Kami and give lots of kisses (or teethe on her)... it's so sweet. Kami isn't too sure that she likes it yet. Anyways, here are some pictures from today.

Last day of visit

After a wonderful trip to see Grandma and Papa, we went down to see Uncle Ron and Aunt Glenda (along with my cousins). It was a fun trip, and we even stopped by to see Uncle George and Aunt Shirley on the way. Chloe was such a trooper and is now in bed sleeping sound at home. Dad survived my backseat driving, and is home enjoying the peace and quiet. Home sweet home!

Grandma and Papa with their "amazing grace"
Legacy of sewing in the Gibson Gals. Grandma is teaching me the tricks of the trade, and I'm so excited. She made my dresses when I was a wee bit, and they were exquisite. I so enjoyed the time that we had to share.

My little Bluebonnet

Right when we left Paris, we found a great field of Bluebonnets! So we had to capture the moment.

Paris Museum

Today, we went to the Paris Museum. It was so exciting to see my Papa's uniform hung up with his picture from the time that he was in the United States Marine Corps. Papa was engaged in intense combat in Peleleiu, Okinawa, and was assigned to participate in the removal of the Japanese from Mainland China. He is one of the few survivors, and was awarded a purple heart.

April Showers

New toys from Mimi and Pops!
She loves her new car! As soon as we put her in it, her hands grabbed the wheel. She looks like she's ready to take off and go. When we stopped she would stand up and sit down and make a funny noise (translation... "go")
She is very shy in front of the camera... haha
advocado yummyness

This weekend has been SO rainy, but being inside has done us some good. Chloe decided to start drinking a bottle today! Yes, she is almost 7 months old :)

We also had a good visit with Mimi and Pops, and they showered her with love and spoiling...

mail call

Hey everyone- I hope you are having a great week. Mine has been okay... just taking care of my little angel. She has RSV. So, we are spending a lot of time at home cuddling :)

Oh, and don't you love mail? I realized today that I have a little problem with "loving the mailman". Don't get me wrong, I don't really love "him". Just the mail that he delivers. Even though I do get the occasional bills... I LOVE receiving mail. Be it letters, packages, or magazines. I just love to get mail. Does anyone else have this problem?

I see that cute little square truck pulling around the corner and excitement begins to brew.

Then of course, when I know that I've made a purchase. It's almost just as exciting to anticipate the purchase... then when it comes in the mail I could literally dance in the street.

Okay, I'm sleep deprived and need to go rest... haha

I just though I would share that with you. I wish we still mailed each other letters... to bad for the wireless generation.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday

Spring is here!
Start of the day at Nana's

Today started out rainy and dark, and ended up being a beautiful bright sunny day! Today we were on the way to Nana and Pop Pop's for Easter and Chloe started making a red face... I thought "oh no". Yes, by the time we got to the house (2 minutes away) I sat her down very carefully to try and change her diaper. It was too late. It was everywhere. So, Easter started off in the buff, but we ended up getting some really sweet pictures. This would have been the day that I didn't travel with another outfit.
