They now share this day

February 18, 2009- This was my dad's 53rd birthday, and the day my mom went to Heaven. It was a day that we could all take a deep breath, and know that mom was no longer in any pain. Even though I am still not sure how life is going to continue without her, I am taking one day at a time. I also have a little angel that keeps me moving forward.

I actually spent the last three weeks with my mom at her house, and I'm so grateful for that time that we shared. We laughed, cried, and had many cuddles. Thanks to the wonderful hospice nurses (Karen, Candy, Esther, and Janet), we were able to really just focus on loving mom. I have a great respect for the job that they do, as they took such good care of mom until her very last breath.

So many people have showered us with love... it has been so amazing.

I will share the last moments with mom... I just need some time before I formulate that into words. Thank you (all of you) for the support, shoulders, and encouragement that you have provided. I love you.

I will post some of the pictures of the memorial service when I receive them from Ms. Danielle Violet who captured the moments during the service.

My my...

This was actually taken before Chloe was even born, so you can imagine what it looks like now. We have so many clothes, that she wasn't even able to wear all of them. She grows so fast!

Her room is done!

I just finished Chloe's room. The pictures are hung, and the letters that I made are up and I'm proud. So, it only took 5 months... but I am very pleased.

New PJ's

Well, Old Navy has some really cute PJ's for babes... I got some really cute new ones for Chloe. She likes to look at the new patterns!
